About

Dr. Egemen Güldaş, DDS, PhD

Endodontist | PhD in Endodontics

I was born in Sivas, Türkiye, in 1984 and completed my primary, secondary and high school education in Antalya. I graduated from Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Dentistry in 2008. In the same year, I was admitted to the doctoral programme in Endodontics at Süleyman Demirel University Graduate School of Health Sciences.

I completed my doctoral studies in 2014, earning my PhD and qualifying as a specialist in endodontics.

Following my specialist training, I worked as an endodontist at the Manavgat and Antalya Oral and Dental Health Centres from 2014 to 2016. From 2017 to 2019, I practised at Perla Private Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic, followed by Dentares Private Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic, where I worked from 2019 to 2026. I currently practise as an endodontist at Motto Private Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic.

I remain committed to professional development and scientific research. I am a member of the Turkish Endodontic Society, the European Society of Endodontology, the Holistic Dentistry Association and the Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Association.

My scientific work has been published in international peer-reviewed journals, including journals indexed in the Science Citation Index (SCI). I have also presented my research at international congresses and symposia.

Areas of Specialisation and Professional Interests

My clinical work in endodontics focuses particularly on:

  • Root canal retreatment

  • Treatment of periapical lesions and the healing process

  • Pain management in endodontic treatment

  • Restorative treatment following root canal therapy

I keep up to date with current scientific research and advances in modern endodontic techniques and technologies. In my clinical practice, I aim to apply evidence-based approaches tailored to each patient’s condition, with an emphasis on predictable outcomes and the preservation of natural teeth whenever possible.

My Treatment Approach

My approach to endodontic treatment is guided by the goal of preserving natural teeth and maintaining their function for as long as possible, whenever clinically appropriate.

Every patient has different dental anatomy, clinical needs, expectations and circumstances. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, I carefully assess each case to develop a treatment plan tailored to the patient’s individual needs.

My aim is not simply to address the immediate problem, but also to preserve as much natural tooth structure as possible and help the treated tooth remain healthy and functional over the long term, when the clinical conditions allow.
